Our Pocket Rockets

We hunt wild upland birds as well as waterfowl with our cockers. Each dog is unique, and we believe each one has a quality that is beneficial to our program and feel very blessed to have each of them. It is very important to us that we have quality bred dogs, not only for their job, but to also be easy for our young daughters to train. This is the very reason we love this breed.

We have trained our dogs to hunt as well as agility, obedience, dock diving, but they are very trainable and are prospects for field trial, hunt test, search and rescue, rally, and the list goes on! We have been very blessed with dogs that are biddable and loving companions.

*Reminder - our dogs are "working type" English Cocker Spaniels

* Some dogs have not yet been added to our website. We are currently waiting on health testing and training before adding to our program. We do genetically DNA test each of our dogs before breeding and each dog has been tested for some or all of the following: hips, elbows, patella's, eyes, and heart via OFA or Penn Hip.

BANDIT

English Cocker Spaniel: "Bandit" has already made his debut on GundogTV/American Birdhunter in 2021. He has been a sweetheart of a dog, very easy to train, smart, and great with the kids. His offspring have his same sweet personality. He is an amazing sire because of his qualities not only as a family dog, but also in the field. He has a willingness to please and has amazing off switch.

SPARK

"Spark" is just that - a SPARK! She is quick, sharp, and pretty to look at! The willingness to please in this girl is above and beyond. Spark started retrieving at 9 weeks and knows "the game". Prey drive is high and she settles down with the family in our home. Spark made her debut on American Bird Hunter in 2022. She has a nose for quail and doesn't hesitate to retrieve a duck. Spark is an all around amazing dog that has produced very smart and high drive pups who have a lot of natural instinct. If we lose a quail in brush, she is going to be the one to find it! Spark is not only an amazing hunter, but agility has come very easy and fun for her. Our 8 year old daughter has taught her all of her agility skills and they have done wonderfully together.

ZIPPER

Zipper is one of the sweetest cockers you will meet. She is definitely a family dog. She is in love with our daughters and will not leave their side. She has the willingness to please and her quiet demeanor is icing on the cake. Zipper has been fun to train and loves water! Zipper has been to dock diving events and is very consistent with her retrieves. Zipper is hard not to love and is super fun to watch when she gets birdy!

TRIX

Trix has amazing qualities that we absolutely love aside from being a great hunting dog. Trix isn't always high energy - most of the time she is actually the complete opposite. She is quiet and easy to get along with. Not only is she willing to please, but she also is easy to train and her offspring have done well in hunting as well as non- hunting homes. She was a breeze to train as a puppy. She's definitely got smart genetics. Trix doesn't hesitate to swim and has also done a bit of dock diving and agility!

CHILE

Chile is an amazing dog. She is perfect at bringing up the energy at the right time when we go hunting and the off switch is perfected in our home. Chile is GREAT with the kids and has been very easy to train inside the home and out in the field. Chile is birdy and gets along well with other dogs. She is very quiet, but we love that she knows when its go time!

DARLA

Darla is a high driven female and has a lot of the qualities we want in our program. Darla is an amazing family dog and bird dog. She is bold in the field and doesn't hesitate to get out there and hunt. Darla has learned to use her nose to find wild quail and is very consistent with her retrieves. She is very brave and ready to get any job done. Aside from being a great hunting dog, this girl is a pleasure to take anywhere. She is quiet and has a great off switch as well. She wants love, does great at heal work, has a nice stay, and is always ready for a piece of cheese!

BREW

We are super proud of "Brew". This dog is everything we look for in an all around active dog. This guy is super trainable and has already had his debut on American Birdhunter in 2023, and dock diving. Brew is extremely athletic and hardcore out in the field. His field trial and UK imported bloodlines have made this dog phenomenal for hunting/active family homes. Brew is good in the home, but loves to get out and work. His nose is on the ground, tail 100 mph, and he lives to hunt. This guy is a rockstar!
